The RYA Shore Based Courses are designed to complement the practical Powerboat, Motor Cruising and Sail Cruising schemes.

The RYA Shore Based Courses are designed to complement the practical Powerboat, Motor Cruising and Sail Cruising schemes, teaching the principles of navigation and seamanship that you can then learn to apply on the water. The majority of our shore based courses are run at Chichester Marine Training, in our spacious classroom, which is an ideal learning environment. There is ample space for 12 students and free tea and coffee! However, if you prefer to study at home, we also offer some of our RYA courses online.
